Does RI have a sales tax on alcohol?

With the increase in sales tax on alcohol in MA, I was curious if RI has a lower or no sales tax on alcohol. I live down school which is close to RI and im curious

Both states have an excise tax on alcoholic beverages. MA has the higher tax on hard liquor ($4.05 vs $3.75 gallon). RI has the higher tax on wine (60¢ vs 55¢). They both tax beer the same (11¢).

RI has always collected sales tax (currently 7%) on alcoholic beverages. MA just started doing that last month.

All in, slight advantage to MA except for hard liquor where it’s nearly a wash.

The Trump Network has chosen to build their sales with network marketing. In this strategy, distributors are encouraged to recruit new distributors. Income is based not only on direct sales but also on the sales of distributors recruited. For example, if distributor number one, recruits 10 new distributors, who then each recruit 10 new distributors, distributor number one receives a portion of all sales made from all 100 distributors.

Some network marketing basics are to choose a good product with a good compensation plan. Be sure your sponsor is knowledgeable and helpful. Have a plan to generate leads beyond family and friends. Before investing determine how much you need to invest, how long to payback on your investment, how much effort is required to succeed, and how will you measure success.
